Predictions.

Predicted records for every major league team, along with a key player to watch.
Wager on these at your own risk...

NL East
Atlanta (89-73) Tim Hudson--He had a good spring. They need him to be an ace again.
Florida (86-76) Hanley Ramirez--Is he really as good as he looked last year??
New York (85-77) Oliver Perez--Pitching is everything with this team.
Philly (82-80) Freddy Garcia--Injuries, reduced velocity are ominous signs.
Washington (55-107) None--There's no key player on a team this bad.

NL Central
Milwaukee (89-73) Corey Hart--Inset your own "Sunglasses at Night" joke here.
St. Louis (86-76) Anthony Reyes--Young hotshot in a rotation with lots of questions.
Cincinnati (77-85 Adam Dunn--Time for him to make the next step and become a star.
Houston (76-86) Morgan Ensberg--Looking for a bounce-back year.
Chicago (74-88) Derrek Lee--Still an MVP-caliber player, as in '05? Or just the decent player he was before that?
Pittsburgh (66-96) Chris Duffy--Leadoff hitter needs to ignite the offense.

NL West
Arizona (90-72) Randy Johnson--If he's still an ace, this is the NL's team to beat.
Los Angeles (88-74) Nomar Garciaparra--This offense has a lot of solid hitters, but needs a big bopper.
San Diego (86-76) Marcus Giles--Once a potential star; is the potential still there? Maybe being around his brother will help...
Colorado (80-82) Willy Taveras--Can he get on base ahead of the big bats?
San Fran (73-89) Barry Bonds--Still worth all the trouble/distraction he brings? Probably not unless he hits 45-50 dingers...

AL East
New York (97-65) Chien-Ming Wang--Many think he overachieved last year. And now he's hurt...
Boston (96-66) Daisuke Matsuzaka--You thought I'd say Mirabelli?
Toronto (83-79) A. J. Burnett--Time to start meeting his vast potential.
Tampa Bay (76-86) Delmon Young--Frendly advice: Swing the bat more, throw it less.
Baltimore (70-92) Nick Markakis--O's are lacking in the superstar department. This guy could help fix that.

AL Central
Detroit (91-71) Gary Sheffield--A return of the old Sheff makes their lineup awesome.
Cleveland (87-75) Jeremy Sowers--Young lefty is a budding star.
Chicago (84-78) Mark Buehrle--His downfall was one of 06's biggest surprises. Chisox won with pitching in '05, lost with it in '06.
Minnesota (79-83) Any pitcher not named Johan--Seriously, have you seen their rotation?
Kansas City (59-103) Alex Gordon--The next George Brett? Royals just want some good news for a change.

AL West
Los Angeles (91-71) Gary Matthews Jr.--With all the steroid talk, it's been forgotten that the Angels need him to be good.
Texas (83-79) Hank Blalock--His game is mysteriously slipping.
Oakland (83-79) Eric Chavez--Another disappointing 3B.
Seattle (69-93) Felix Hernandez--Suspicious minds hope The King won't be cruel.
